1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and DhanPOS ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any DhanPOS product, website, or service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Our Services

DhanPOS provides business management software including but not limited to billing software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools, and analytics dashboards. We also operate related websites including dhanpos.com and menupos.in.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

3. Accounts & Access

To use most DhanPOS services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@dhanpos.com of any unauthorized account access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe have been compromised.

4. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable fees, DhanPOS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our software solely for your internal business operations.

This license does not permit you to:

• Sublicense, resell, or distribute our software to third parties
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
• Use the software to develop a competing product
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use DhanPOS services to:

• Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
• Store or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platform without permission
• Engage in GST fraud, tax evasion, or any financial crime
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. Payment & Billing

Certain DhanPOS services require payment of subscription fees. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described on our pricing page, inclusive of GST
• Provide valid payment information and keep it up to date
• Authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on refunds and cancellations.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all business data you enter into DhanPOS software (invoices, customers, products, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide you with our services.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your critical data.

8. Intellectual Property

DhanPOS and all associated logos, software, designs, and content are the exclusive property of DhanPOS and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property except for the limited license described above.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limits may not apply to you.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription via your account dashboard or by contacting support@dhanpos.com. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct we deem harmful to other users or to DhanPOS.

Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably — please contact us first at support@dhanpos.com.
