DhanPOS was founded with frustration as a catalyst. Our founders watched small business owners struggle with clunky, expensive, or unreliable software — or worse, none at all — while trying to serve their customers and grow their livelihoods.
We set out to build something different: software that understands the reality of Indian business — power cuts, poor internet, diverse product types, complex GST rules, and the need for local-language support. Not software designed in a boardroom abroad.
"Dhan" means wealth in Sanskrit — because our goal has always been to create genuine wealth for the businesses we serve, not just software licenses."
Today, DhanPOS powers billing, inventory, and management for businesses across retail, food & beverage, healthcare, and services. With MenuPOS.in on the horizon, we're expanding our ecosystem to serve restaurants and hospitality businesses with the same depth and care.
